Dr. Rick Belling

FOUNDER/CHIROPRACTOR

Before long, the allergies went away too. And his energy levels returned to normal. That was all he needed and shortly thereafter decided on attending chiropractic college instead of medical school.

Dr. Belling graduated from Life Chiropractic College-West in 1991 and has been serving the Newport-Costa Mesa area for over 19 years.

He’s also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician but doesn’t limit his practice to sports injuries. In fact, he truly believes chiropractic can heal anyone regardless of age and his patients include everyone from babies to geriatrics – anyone with a spine!

Dr. Belling specializes in many Chiropractic techniques and Sports Rehabilitation procedures including Diversified, Gonstead, Sports Medicine, Spinal Corrective Therapy, Myofascial Release Techniques, Wellness Care, as well as Spinal Decompression.

Dr. Belling attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and received his undergraduate degree in 1987. He studied biology, chemistry, human physiology – he wanted to learn how to heal himself and to help others do the same. He excelled in academics, earning positions on multiple honor societies and Dean’s Lists.

Still, he suffered daily with pain and illness. Diet and exercise were crucial, but not enough. Even his perennial positive mental attitude was not enough. He was accepted into 3 post-graduate schools and decided to take a year off to travel to California before taking on the grind of medical school.

While working as a personal trainer in a gym, Dr. Belling met a chiropractor that changed his life. He was told how chiropractic affects the nervous system and that the nervous system controls and coordinates everything in the body. He eagerly agreed to have the Doctor adjust him (what did he have to lose?) and the pain went away!
